Whitby Holiday Park, Whitby

Stayed her about 2 years ago on a VERY windy couple of days. Could pitch where you liked but the only available level spot was about 3 feet from the barbed wire fence of the cliff (which became useful as we tied the tent to it on the second night before we upped sticks and went somewhere less breezy! Nephew expected us to undergo the same fate as the hotel which fell down the cliff!) Needed to pay deposit for a key for toilet/shower block which was awful with kids needing to use loo if someone was already off with key. I'm sure there could be a better way! Very small play area but kept young kids happy enough. Nice walk down to the beach below (if you didn't want to wait for the landslide that is!) Joking aside - site ok but would prefer something a little more stable and less exposed to the elements.
