Beeston Regis Camping Site
This site has a great position on the clifftop, but the owners are just taking the money and not investing in new facilities. There were two toilet/shower blocks, one old and one very old. Showers required a 25p token for a few minutes of warm water in a dirty shower cubicle. Dish washing facilities were unsheltered with poor lighting. Pitches were a decent size however. If you arrive late you can just find yourself a pitch and pay in the morning.
This is a good location spoilt by poor facilities getting worse by lack of investment.

Beeston Regis Camping Site
Stayed one night 21st July 2002. Nice site with a good position. Cannot work out charging structure. Went with friends who stayed two nights as opposed to our one and they only paid £3 more!! It cost £30 for 1 night for 2 adults and two children with two small tents-seems steep to me.

Beeston Regis Camping Site
This campsite should have it all - a great location, excellent facilities, but instead they have chosen to exploit their clifftop location, with access to the beach and walks along the cliff, ripping off the many campers who travel to Norfolk for a cheaper family holiday.
My partner and I arrived on the Friday night of the jubilee weekend, and paid £15 per night for the privilege of sharing the field and 8 toilets with at least 200 other campers. There were queues for the toilets at 11pm - ridiculous. What's more, there was a 25p charge for cold showers, as there was insufficient hot water for the large number of people staying.
I have stayed at this site many times in the past 4 years and each time the price has gone up without any improvements to the site at all. They now have plans to move campers to another field, which would put campers out of reasonable reach of the meagre facilities that there are, but still aim to charge £15 a night (£21 for a caravan with electric). I'm disgusted.
