John O' Groats Caravan & Camping Site
Decent flat grassy campsite overlooking the sea, but a bit exposed. It was extremely windy when we were there in August 2004. The facilities were OK but had an extra charge of 20p for the shower and hairdrier (which was broken). A reasonable £8 a night for a tent. There are some tourist shops and a small museum and the Orkney passenger ferry terminal and not a lot else. The day trip to Orkney was well worth £35 for a guided coach trip round at least three of the islands

John O' Groats Caravan & Camping Site
This is a beautiful campsite on the seafront. The views are beautiful of the island of Stroma. In walking distance (2 minutes) are the gift shops, restaurant and cafe etc. Also the ferry leaves from here to the Orkney Islands. Tours of Orkney can be booked here and the price includes ferry crossing and coach tour of Orkney. The toilet blocks and showers are very clean and well kept and a key to these facilities is given to you on arrival at the site.
