Sandend Caravan Park
Sandend caravan park is not to be missed!
It is family owned, well laid out and has nice level pitches with electric hook-up and beautifully kept facilities. It has a small shop at the entrance to the site for your morning papers or groceries. The site sits at the back of one of the most gorgeous golden beaches I've ever seen, with views looking right out over the white, crashing waves to the North Sea and only a two minute walk through the grassy sand dune path from the site.
Sandend village has kept it's traditional fishing 'feel' and history, with the houses neatly perched along the little coast road, leading you to the small, idyllic harbour. On the way you pass the smoke house where they still smoke the haddock(kippers) in the traditional way...ahh the smell(lovely)!! If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, then this is it. Sandend will almost certainly leave you with memories that will keep you going back, year after year. Like so many other people I've met over the years, they all I'm sure would agree, that Sandend is like a "home from home"
Have a lovely holiday!
