Laneside Caravan Park Reviews

Laneside Caravan Park

We stayed at this campsite for a weekend in summer 2002 and it was a great base for doing some walking. We must have picked a busy weekend though, because we were fairly squashed in and it was really quite noisy at night. Our pitch was near the exit to the site with only a hedge separating us from the road, so there was a fair bit of noise from passing cars and other campers on their way back from the pub about to party on in their tents. It?s about a 5-minute walk into the village where there are a couple of pubs and a Spar for essentials. Facilities were good with clean toilets and showers and plenty of free hot water, although it was a bit of a walk from our pitch to get to them. A nice site, but request a pitch away from the road and buy some ear plugs!

Laneside Caravan Park

Clean, well run site. Toilets and showers allways clean. However, the site was very very noisy at night. Music and shouting past 3am on the Friday night.
