Oberei, Wilderswil

It's been a long time since I visited this site, but if you want peace and tranquility, with cowbells in the ditance, (reminiscent of Gray's 'Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard,') the soothing sound of a waterfall, and the most stunning scenery in the world, then this is the site for you.

I have stayed at this campsite 3 times ,twice on a motorcycle and once by car and you are made very welcome by the owners and other site usersthe ameneties are always nice and clean /it has awashing machine and tumble dryer (very handy if you are on a bike,the piches are very good.there is electric hook up if you need them.
the sie is surrounded by moutains with veiw of glasiers and is very quiet during the evening.
Interlaken is only 15 minuite walk away but you can get the bus if you want,the train station is acuple of minites away and you can catch it to take you up to Grindlewald to get the cable cars up to the top of the mountains .
all I can say is thatI thoroughly recommend this site as being very central to all of the sites in the berner oberland both mountains and to the lakes and passes which you should visit.

It's a very nice place to camp, for people with a caravan or tent. It has a beautiful view on the jungfrau region, you are enclosed by mountains, en the weather is almost every day of the summer sunny. I have went there since I was little and i'm still going. It's not a very big campsite, but you get to know everyone.
