Stayed on the site about 5 years ago now, drove there from UK, cant park your car next to the tent though, had to leave in car park. Walked to the train station (10 mins) and train straight into Amsterdam Central Station (25 mins). The trains back dont run late though so you have to leave the City before midnight (which is a drag) to get back to the site. Make sure you have your campsite pass as the security man wont let you in otherwise! was a bar/cafe on the site and very friendly staff.

Very friendly relaxed campsite.
Clean, excellent security (entrance manned after dark) and passes must be shown.
Easy to get to (about 300m from Gaasperplas at the end of metro line 53).
Gets quite busy in Summer.
I think I was paying about £5 a night 1 adult 1 tent but it was a couple of years ago
