Camping Al Mare, Genova

Small camping site situated at the west end of Chiavari. Though small it is very nice, friendly and clean. It is on a dead end street making manoeuvring a caravan a bit difficult but not unachievable. Behind the camping site is a railway line, which you get easy used to and not hear it. Cross the dead-end road and you are straight on a public pebble beach (clean).
About a 15 minute walk to city centre and 5 minutes to the beginning of the boulevard.
Summer season is extremely busy. A lot of Italians from up North use the site for the weekend and the whole summer returning year after year.
Camping has small store which sells the necessities and some fresh bread and mini pizza's in the morning. Small canteen also on site, but I recommend you try the local restaurants (away from the boulevard).
Spend several summers there (one even up to 8 weeks).
