La Musardiere
I've stayed at La Musardiere every year since 2000 and will be going back in June. It's ideally situated for climbers, hikers or mountain bikers and is just on the edge of the forest. Good facilities, except the water in the ablutions could be hotter. Swimming pool open most evenings during the summer, bread and cake van calls weekend and public holiday mornings. Excellent, reasonably priced restaurants etc., in Milly la Foret, about six miles away. Beware - the campsite staff don't speak very much English therefore a smattering of French would go a long way. Reasonably priced, but try and book in advance as it's always very busy.

La Musardiere
I have visited this site more times than I care to remember and am always very happy with my stay. For the price you pay the facilities are more than adequate (hint, the top showers are better than the new ones by the pool). Ah yes the pool. I have been every year since 97 when the pool appeared to be near to completion, and sadly never been able to have a swim. This may just be that I go either side of summer though. Also for those who like climbing, the crags are close and abundant. The country village of Milly la foret is quaint and picturesque with enough shops for day to day shopping. For a larger shop there is a Hypermarket complex in Chailly en briere that can be reached in about 10 to 15 minutes by car. I hope that this helps.
