Camping La Colombiere Reviews

Camping La Colombiere 5/5 5 stars

This really is a lovely little site! Our Family has stayed here on a number of occasions in our caravan en route to and from Switzerland or Italy. Our first visit on our way to the South of France was meant only for an overnight stop - we stayed four days - and have returned on a regular basis for many years since.

Facilities, whilst not modern, are spotlessley clean, lashings of hot water, and areas for a tent/caravan area is huge!

The village itself is really picturesque, there are a couple fo small supermarkets and bakers which cater for everyday needs, and the Town of Gray isn't too far away with a number of hypermarkets for a weekly shop.

If you want a good nightlife, social atmosphere, don't bother! But if you want to sit outside your caravan with a book, listen to the river, (which on a hot day is a welcome relief for a swim) and enjoy a bit of peace and tranquility rhwn you really couldn't ask for more!

Much recommended!
