The Pagoda Tour 90 RP is a versatile, do-it-all touring ski ready for any extended mountain mission, equally at home on the front side of your favourite ski area for those early morning fitness laps. With a softer flex pattern optimized for lightweight boots and bindings in mixed conditions, the RP shaping family has always placed an emphasis on ease of use and manoeuvrability. The 90mm waist stays out of the way on kick turns and offers a lightweight platform for uphill speed. This all results in a ski perfect for tackling strenuous backcountry routes where lightweight efficiency is key, even in conditions where a wider ski might be tempting.Terrain Type & Ability LevelTerrain Type An ideal choice for lighter bindings so you can do longer tours and still have a ski that has float for fresh snow. The shape and flex aim it more at playful skiing than charging steeper, technical routes, but thanks to the Carbon construction it is not short of grip when things get firm.BC skiers who want a balance of weight saving and a ski big enough to deal with more than just packed snow – they want some float for when the uphill is going to be rewarded with fresh snow turns! Yet it isn’t so big that it becomes cumbersome or tricky.OverviewShapeThe RP shape is both surfy and intuitive. 90mm underfoot provides enough platform for all conditions without being too wide; the tapered tip and tail initiate turns effortlessly and allows them to be exited with clean carves or easily washed out.RockerRocker at the tip and tail equates to 45% rocker. Sounds like a lot but it works perfectly with the shaping. The camber underfoot makes the most of the carbon construction and playful 15m radius.CoreAsh has aerospace grade foam stringers interspersed and Paulownia overlaid, creating a light buy strong core that has plenty of life and response. Third Rail Technology uses bio-based Algal Technology to improve stability.ConstructionThe updated Pagoda Tour construction benefits from meticulous attention to detail across the entire R+D process, from sourcing materials to finding the most optimal ratios between them. New for 2022, DPS have introduced Algal sidewalls and Third Rail Technology that are approximately 68% bio-based content improving performance and product sustainability. Their proprietary carbon laminate provides power and energy that’s balanced with an ash and paulownia wood species, and aerospace grade foam core. The final product is a construction, that encourages the skier to lap the skin track to their hearts content and enjoy the descent with the utmost confidence.Key FeaturesRP ShapingThe RP chassis started with the first Wailer 112 RP design that incorporated generous tip/tail rocker and taper. RP originally stood for ‘Resort Powder', and the legend began. Its shape opens doors and makes truly versatile powder planing accessible to many. The RP's core shaping equation is impressive, 45% rocker merged with a 15m sidecut and means natural, intuitive skiing.Third Rail TechnologyThird Rail Technology uses bio-based Algal Technology to improve stability.Size (cm)Tip Width (mm)Waist Width (mm)Tail Width (mm)Radius (m)Weight (g)1651179010515171118901061517911990106151841209010615General InformationSkier Ability: Intermediate|Advanced|expertRocker: Tip/Tail RockerRadius: MediumBase: SinteredBindings: Ski sold flatDIN: n/aConstruction: Mini Cap Full SidewallCore: Wood, Carbon, Algal TechDemo: No
