La Cote De Nacre, St Aubin Sur Mer

Have visited this sire several times. Fairly compact site mainly for static caravans and permanant tents. Well used by companies such as Keycamp for overnight stays. Consequently lots of coming and going by short stay campers. Handy for Ouistreham. Walking distance to pleasant seaside town of St Aubin. Fairly good site complex including pool with sliding cover, water rapids and chutes. Bar and food good. Frequent entertainmnet which can be quite loud unti late. Reasonably friendly staff. Kids play area. Toilet/wash facilities OK.

We stayed at this campsite for 1 week in August of 2004. It is a very large site with level well drained pitches.
The toilet facilities are fairly good although the toilets have no seats fitted and the showers have uni-directional roses.
The bar was a little expensive but the food was good value and very tasty.
The swimming pool was excellent with both inside and outside areas, there are waterslides which are great fun.
Childrens activities are organised in the high season and there is a well stocked play area.
All in all, this is an expensive but good family campsite, the pool is great.
