El Rancho, Argeles Sur Mer

lovely site situated just outside of Argeles town on the route to sordie but must be the easiest site to access the French / Spannish aout route / Auto pista we fly to Gerona airport and drive up to Argeles and know the area well as we have been on holiday there by train car and flying / car hire since 1988 and i must say this has to be the best site to get to from the above and the super markets the beach is a 10 minuet drive away or by taking the little tourist train from the next site (bois Flour) 10 minuets walk away. the site has a very relaxed air to it and it has to be set in the nicest counrtyside areas of all the Argeles camping sites with the Alber hills on your doorstep the site owner and his wife are very freindly and Pierre speaks fluent English and Spannish

Fantastic location just outside the village of Argeles-sur-mer le / el rancho is a well maintained site in lovelly countryside on the route de sordie its very convenient to get to from the A9 autoroute exit le boulou then follow signs to Argeles-sur-mer at the 1st roundabout at Argeles take the 1st exit (direction St andre) then about 200 metres take the 1st left go to the opposite end of this road appox 1Klm turning left onto route du sordie then take the 1st right (appox 80 meters) and follow sighs to le ranco about 300 meters. The owners are very welcoming and peirre speaks very good english plus a bit of spannish the site is both Camping or Mobile homes we liked it so much we have just bought a mobile home there the town of argeles is about 3Kms and the beach is about 4 to 5 kms the nearest supermarkt is at st andre about 3kms (champion) or about the same distance to Carrafour in argeles. theres a tourist train runs from the next site Blos Flur (about 10 minuetes walk away) which will take you to the town (railway station) and then on down to the beach and outside the main season its free
