Broadway House Caravan & Camping Park, Cheddar

Broadway House is just a mere 3 miles from Cheddar itself. It's facilities are very good, has everything you need including an onsite shop which we felt was reasonably price as is the bar. However, the onsite bar food isn't great but is adequate. There is a nice area with BBQ's which is free to use making it an ideal site for larger parties to join up in the evening. There's also an area for ball games such as footbal and a skateboard ramp. Arrangements for cave exploring and abseiling can be made but they also do archery and shooting onsite as well as water persuits. There is also an outside swimming pool. An ideal campsite for stroppy teenagers!!!
However, the only critism is that the staff are not the most friendly or helpful and stroppy teenagers or not, I felt some staff were 'unnecessary' with the youngsters.
All in all, it is a well maintained and active campsite, ideal for all the family and despite the one critism, we'd have no hesitation to go back again.
