Long Beach Caravan Park Reviews

Long Beach Caravan Park 3/5 3 stars

We stayed at the Hemsby Tent field at Long Beach Caravan Park which was very pleasant with a nice new toilet and shower block. A lot of effort was clearly made to keep the toilet and shower block clean, however, the job was made extremely difficult because the grass had been recently mowed and the cuttings had not been collected. So, the toilet and shower block would be covered in grass within a few minutes of them being cleaned.

It is also very difficult to keep cut grass out of your tent or caravan and is very annoying when it gets damp from rain or dew.

Although the showers were clearly quite new, there was very little power from them and the temperature was inconsistent. Some days the water would be barely above lukewarm, other days it would be nice and hot.

The site staff were very friendly and helpful and the site was quiet with no disturbances during our stay. The site is well located for Hemsby, Great Yarmouth and even further afield.

Long Beach Caravan Park

Find Hemsby Longbeach Tentsite by following the A47 towards Great Yarmouth. Turn off near Caister onto the B1159 and follow all the way to Hemsby. Long Beach is signposted all the way from the main road and is easy to find.
The tent site is a large grassy field with toilet and a shower trailers, with hot water as-you-go. Costs £8 per night. There is a shop and a bar serving food and drink all day to adults and children 150yards towards the beach, which lies just 150yards beyond that, just over a dune.
