Castlerigg Hall Camping and Caravan Park
stayed here in August 2002. Site can be boggy at the bottom end and a bit crowded. Showers and facilities not bad. No pubs nearby though and a long trek into Keswick especially on the way back up a long hill. Not bad for families but not recomended for backpackers, walkers or drunks.

Castlerigg Hall Camping and Caravan Park
Have been going there for the last 3years and sometimes twice in the same year. There is a pub next door to the site albeit small but has a good atmosphere.
The view from most of the site is excellent and an even more beutiful (birdseye) view of Keswick and the surrounding area can be seen after a 15 minute walk up the hill overlooking the site.
The place itself is generally quiet and has all the amenities you could expect from a well kept site.
