Camping El Sur, Ronda

This is a lovely site with fantastic views. Some of the tent sites are quite high up on the hill so the breeze can be quite refreshing. The ground is extremely hard though so take some strong tent pegs. The showers are very clean and the pool is lovely with a nice grassy area to sunbathe. I found the staff quite helpful and friendly, although we only stayed 1 night. The shop is small but seems to sell everything you might need. This is well-maintained, peaceful and beautiful site. Recommended.

This is a really nice camping!!! The facilities are excellent and there is a wonderful swimming pool with a priceless view of the hills of Andalucia and the old town of Ronda. The camping is also very reasonably priced. It's a 30 minute walk to the center of Ronda, but you will see some beautiful scenery along the way. Many Dutch people come here with their caravans, but there is also a small field for backpackers. There is also a nice restaurant with a terrace and a bar. The only real drawback of this camping is that the staff is sometimes unfriendly and very strictly enforces the camping rules (I heard the term 'fascist' being used by several campers!). Still, as long as you obey the rules you will very much enjoy this beautiful camping!
