Camping Torremolinos
Not the best site we have stayed at. Weather didn't help, rained the whole 2 weeks in October 2003. Owners not friendly. We felt we were intruding when we went to the bar, as the whole family and workwers were sitting down to eat in the bar. Reluctant to get up and serve us. Pan pipes played repetitively every day. The site slopes on gravel and we had a river running right through our awning. A very rough site.

Camping Torremolinos
We came upon this campsite purely by coincidence. It was getting late and I had stopped at a restaurant to look at the map. I didn't even know where we were, so I asked a group of people just about to go in the restaurant and they showed me. I asked them where the nearest campsite was and they said right here next to the restaurant! I was relieved! I found the English man working there to be very friendly and the Spaniard not so. We found 3 showers to be hot, and the shower area to be very clean. The bar/cafe was cheap and nice to sit and have a drink there in the evening. Easy to get to Malaga on the train and very cheap! Our two tents were under trees, so we had some shade. The beach was about a 15 minute walk away, and a little gravely in places. Nice campsite for a few days. Susan

Camping Torremolinos
This is kind of a 'city' camping: the plots are concrete with a layer of gravel on them. There's a lot of shade though and it's just a short walk to the beach, and about a 30 minute walk along the beach to Torremolinos. The facilities of this camping are not all that clean, but acceptable. There is a bar with deliciously cold beer! Not the best or friendliest camping I've ever stayed at, but it's o.k. for a night or two.

Camping Torremolinos
Friendly local campsite with a pleasant bar/cafe and good cheap tapas. 2 stops from Malaga Airport on the local train at Los Alamos. Head away from the sea to the top of the road turn right past "Restaurnte Frutos" and a car hire place and you'll see the camping signs. Currently about ?8 per night for tent and person but will increase during the season. WARNING only one hot shower for men and one for women which are either scaldingly hot or breath takigly cold!

Camping Torremolinos
Site is basic but within walking distance of the beach. The train / metro to runs through all the other resorts and is cheap and regular. The site is in the direction of Malaga a few miles east of Torremolinos. Take care they only accept cash for site fees.
