Camping Parque Tropical, Estepona

Very nice but could do with some upgrading and tlc.Lovely restaurant only 2 min walk from campsite,nice if you want to get out of town.Quite noisy due to very busy main road.Worth a nights visit if travelling around..

Really nice site - clean, tidy, swimming pool, lots of beautiful tropical trees, friendly staff - although it is a bit in the middle of nowhere.

Very friendly family run campsite. Set in what used to be a tropical nursery.

Beautiful surroundings although very wet when we stayed in Winter.

Excellent facilities. Small camp site shop, restaurant - set menu - fairly reasonable prices.

Toilets very clean, loads of loo roll. Miele washing machines. But the best facility of all is
the indoor heated swimming pool. Probably gets very busy in Summer though. It is housed in what I can
only describe as a large greenhouse. It is open until about 9.00 pm in the evenings when it is floodlit.
Amazing atmosphere if a little spooky. The showers adjoin the swimming area so the air is always warm and
the showers nice and hot.

The only downside is that it is in the middle of nowhere. There are buses but few.
It takes about 15 mins in a taxi to either Estepona or San Pedro - the two nearest resorts.

However, it is only a 5 min walk to the beach but across a very busy main road.

Altogether had an enjoyable time. Good security but not intrusive. Not too big a site
so should imagine have to book in advance for high season.
