Camping La Rana Verde, Chiclana De La Frontera

I visited this campsite in early June 2005 and even though in my official Spanish campsite guide it said the sight was open all year round, none of the facilities ie; mini market, bar, restaurant, swimming pool looked like they had been open since last summer! We arrived on saturday afternoon and it was busy for the weekend with teenagers and loud music and lots of unemptied rubbish bins. We stayed saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday but had intermitent hot water in the showers and no cleaning up in the washing areas at all. There are some really good things though and the actual sight is very mature with some beautiful trees giving very good shade and the beaches nearby are excellent and the supermarkets nearby are also very good. Perhaps things are different in full season but I don't call the fist week in June out of season!
