Price guide (2 people, 1 tent, 1 night, no car): £5.00This site is at the cross roads to Spurn point, to get to this site you will nead your own transport as there are only three buses to Kilnsea per week!!
The campsite is small, friendly and quiet. The pitching field is about 20mtrs from the beach and all of the World war Two concrete gun enplacements. The site is about 1 mile from the wardens hut on Spurn point and provides an excellent base for birdwatching or walks along Spurn. The site is sheltered and the toilets are well maintained. The site was the old barracks for the defences on Spurn, but many of the buildings have been washed away. A very good site, but hard to get to if you have no transport.

Sandy Beaches
Stayed at sandybeaches on the 14th june 2003 with my family.
The tent field is now the bottom field which was the dog walking feild (and still is as far as some of the owners of the statics are concerned).
Their are no suitable fire points on the tent field, toilets are completly opposite end of site and are the worst i have seen on a campsite, with holes through cubicle walls and also human waste wiped on walls .
I would not recomend the site to anyone in a tent.

The site is about 25 miles out of Hull and whilst stoney pitching is more than worth it
