Star Caravan & Camping Park Reviews

Star Caravan & Camping Park

I have very mixed feelings about this site. To it's credit it was cheap, reasonably clean and very close (5 minutes drive) to Alton Towers. The facilities, although fairly basic were in good order.

On the other hand, when we went (admittedly mid August, peak holiday time)it felt overly crowded. We came back one evening to find new tents pitched no more than 8 feet either side our own. The barrier gates at entrance and exit, the gloomy staff, and the abundance of 'Do Not' signs all gave the place an unwelcoming feeling.

It's fine if you're planning to be out all day and just want a place to crash at night. If you're planning to spend any time relaxing on the site I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
